The Ballast

To be The Ballast is to be the constant, cold-eyed companion of a Figurehead: someone (likely more animated than yourself) who relies on your unflinching resolve. Your Figurehead might not agree with your methods or your attitude, but your alien heart and mind are devoted. Whether you’re their subordinate or a sworn protector, you will do whatever it takes to help them achieve their destiny.
